Governance

Edmund Rice Community Services Limited (ERCS) is driven by its mission and the example of Edmund Rice.

Edmund Rice Community Services is governed by a Board of Directors who set the organisation’s strategic directions, and policy frameworks as per legislative requirements and best practise standards of governance and community expectations. The Board has responsibility for:

​

• Vision, Values, and Mission of ERCS

• setting the strategic directions for ERCS;

• setting the policy and risk framework of ERCS;

• overseeing the financial wellbeing of ERCS and each of the entities;

• overseeing the management of ERCS;

• contributing to the nurturing of key external relationships;

• providing opportunities for formation in the charism of Edmund Rice, and

• supporting and guiding the Executive Team.

 

The following entities are directly governed by Edmund Rice Community Services and the Board:

• Edmund Rice Camps NSW, QLD, SA, TAS & VIC

• Edmund Rice Community and Refugee Services

• Edmund Rice Centre for Justice and Community Education

• Edmund Rice Services Mt. Atkinson

• Callan Services National Unit
