About the Opportunity
The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of new fundraising initiatives across the organisation. These initiatives will be invaluable to the support of the programs that we run in service to the communities in which we work.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Development and implementation of a fundraising plan to maximise opportunities to build and gain support from benefactors and volunteers
Organising major fundraising initiatives and coordination of events
Maintaining current donor lists and build on their involvement with ERCS
Ensure working with children checks and other staff and volunteer checks are in place for events
Build relationships within the community to increase awareness and support of ERCS.
Use these partnerships to implement new fundraising campaigns
About You
This role will suit someone who wants to build on their current experience within community fundraising and increase their experience within this field. You will have a passion for making a difference and achieving positive outcomes with varied fundraising initiatives. You will be able to work independently with limited supervision, be organised and enjoy working towards a common goal.
You will also have:
A minimum of five years experience working in a similar role, preferably in the community services sector
Experience in developing new initiatives from implementation to completion
Experience in networking to develop partnerships and increase visibility within the industry
Capacity to work with organisations and people across different contexts and cultures
An understanding of funding demands in the community services sector
An ability to influence and drive successful outcomes
