Tell your Edmund Rice Story

Every day, Edmund Rice communities across Oceania make a difference in people’s lives. If you are one of those people, we want to hear your story. The submissions we gather may be used in places like social media, websites, as part of grant applications, fundraising appeals, and in publications (like an Annual Report or newsletters).  This could be at your communities level, by another ERCS community, or ERCS itself.

As part of our commitment to ethical storytelling, it’s important you’re aware of the following conditions before submitting your story.

 

They include:

• You must be 18+ to submit your story

• Stories and testimonies will be de-identified (i.e. no/changed name, no real images used)

• We take your name and email so that we can store and identify the story as yours, and ask any additional questions if we need

• In submitting, you permit Edmund Rice Community Services or its entities/communities (see here) to publish and share the story

• You understand that you will not be financially compensated for the use of your submission or publishing of your story

• At any time you can rescind (take back) your consent to ERCS or its communities from using your story/testimony. To do so please email us at ERCS@edmundrice.org and we will, to our best efforts, remove your story from publications where we can
